Kyle Harrison founded the company with a couple of dump trucks and a simple idea: show up when you say you will, do the work better than anyone expects, and never leave a job unfinished. He spent his early years hauling material for other contractors, learning every phase of sitework from the cab of a truck and the seat of a dozer. He saw what worked. He saw what didn't. And he knew he could do it better.

So he did. What began as a hauling operation grew into something bigger, one piece of equipment at a time, one satisfied GC at a time, one project completed ahead of schedule at a time. Kyle reinvested in the business, added excavators, graders, pavers, and crews that shared his standard. He didn't build HD Grading by cutting corners or underbidding and hoping for the best. He built it by doing the work right, keeping his word, and delivering results that made people call back.

Today, HD Grading is a full-service sitework contractor with a fleet of heavy equipment, a dedicated hauling division, and a reputation across the Carolinas for beating deadlines and doing things the right way. But the foundation hasn't changed. Kyle still answers the phone. His crews still show up early. And every project, whether it's a five-acre clearing job or a hundred-acre commercial development, still gets the same thing: the full weight of a company that was built on showing up and getting it done.
